Bol Beach - Brac Island - Croatia - by Kurt Milam
Bol is a great little gravel beach on the island of Brac in the Croatian Dalmations. It's situated on a narrow peninsula that stretches out into the warm, crystal clear blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. Neither the island nor the beach are over developed. When I was there, one section of the beach was populated mostly by naturist sunbathers. The rest was dominated by of a mix of local families and mostly European tourists. A small outdoor bar, a restaurant and showers are located about 50 meters of off the beach. The town of Bol is less than a kilometer away.
